Speeding car rams into shops in Macha Bolarum; driver injured

HYDERABAD: A speeding car went out of control and crashed into shops near Select Theatre in Macha Bolarum in the early hours of Monday, leaving the driver seriously injured and creating panic in the area.
Police said the vehicle veered off the road before ramming into a row of shops and commercial units. The front portion of the car was mangled due to the impact, and the driver sustained severe injuries.
Alwal police station personnel reached the spot soon after receiving information and shifted the injured driver to a nearby private hospital.
Officers said they suspect the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. A case has been registered, and further investigation is in progress.
