Lucky Multicuisine Restaurant Following A Dispute Over Rent, Access To The Premises And An Alleged Obstruction Of A Patrol Vehicle

HYDERABAD: A rent dispute involving Lucky Multicuisine Restaurant in Madhapur has led to separate police cases against the premises owners and restaurant operator. Both sides have made allegations over access to the property and rent payments.

Rehana, who identified herself as the owner of Madhapur Lucky Restaurant, alleged that she had paid ₹3.60 lakh in monthly rent for nearly six years. She said she regularly paid the rent and complied with Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) requirements.

Rehana alleged that the restaurant was later demolished. She also claimed that its water and electricity connections were disconnected and its food licence was cancelled.

She said she had invested heavily in the business and had bank statements to support her claims.

According to Madhapur Police, the dispute involves restaurant operator Mohammed Mansoor and premises owners Ravi, Hari and others. Police said Mansoor had taken the premises on lease but had not paid rent for the past few months.

Police allege obstruction of access

Police alleged that Ravi, Hari and others damaged the approach road to the restaurant after the rent dispute. They also allegedly obstructed access to the premises.

Police registered a case over the alleged obstruction. The matter remains under investigation.

The police said the dispute mainly concerns rent payments and the use of the premises.

Separate case over alleged patrol vehicle obstruction

Madhapur Police also registered a separate case against Mansoor, his wife and others over an incident during night patrol on October 3, 2026.

According to police, a patrol vehicle was conducting night patrol near the Indian Petrol Pump around 12.10 am. Mansoor, his wife and some others allegedly came onto the road and blocked the vehicle.

Police alleged that the group sat on the road and obstructed traffic, causing inconvenience to the public. They also alleged that the group obstructed police personnel while they were performing their duties.

Police registered a separate case over the incident. Further action will follow as per law, police said.

FSSAI action follows inspection

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) suspended the licence of Lucky Restaurant on September 26, 2026. The action followed an inspection that found food safety and hygiene deficiencies, according to the information provided.

Madhapur Police clarified that the FSSAI action was separate from the police cases. The police cases concern the rent and premises dispute and the alleged obstruction of the patrol vehicle.
