HYDERABAD: A fire broke out in the operation theatre on the fourth floor of LIMS Hospital on Wednesday, according to preliminary information.
Hospital staff said the fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit. The exact cause of the incident is yet to be confirmed.
Patients shifted as precautionary measure
Authorities shifted patients to a nearby private hospital to ensure their safety. No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident, hospital officials said.
Two fire engines reached the hospital and carried out firefighting operations. The flames were brought under control shortly after the fire broke out.
