LB Nagar car crashes into parked lorry

HYDERABAD: Two persons were injured after a speeding car rammed into a lorry parked on the roadside in LB Nagar during the early hours of Thursday.
Driver loses control near Chitra Layout
The accident occurred near Chitra Layout under the limits of the LB Nagar police station. According to police, Dharavath Ashok, a resident of Suryapet district, was driving the car when he allegedly failed to notice the stationary lorry and crashed into it.
The impact of the collision left the front portion of the car severely damaged. Locals who heard the sound of the crash rushed to the spot and alerted the police and emergency services.
Injured shifted to hospital
Ashok and Borra Madhu of Saroornagar, who was travelling in the vehicle, sustained serious injuries in the accident. Police personnel reached the spot soon after receiving information and shifted the injured to Kamineni Hospital for treatment.

Traffic movement in the area was affected briefly as police cleared the damaged vehicle from the road. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
