New York gunmen kill Medchal youth
Hyderabad : A Telugu youth from Telangana was shot dead in New York while working as a pizza delivery worker, according to preliminary reports.
The victim has been identified as Kuncha Anshul, a native of Gundlapochampally in Medchal district. He had reportedly moved to the United States for higher studies and was working part-time as a pizza delivery worker.
Shooting reported around midnight
According to reports, Anshul was delivering a pizza at around midnight when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him. He sustained bullet injuries and died in the incident.
Local police have launched an investigation and are examining the circumstances that led to the shooting. No arrests had been reported at the time of publication.
