Kukatpally gym owner held for selling ganja

HYDERABAD: Police on January 6 arrested a gym owner and a supplier for allegedly selling ganja to customers at a gym in Kukatpally.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from the Special Task Force (STF), led by CI Nagaraju, conducted a raid at a gym near Mysore Bakery in Madhavanagar Colony. The team seized 310 grams of ganja from the premises.
The gym owner, Birder Sunil, told police that he sold ganja to customers who asked for it, officers said.
Based on his disclosure, police arrested Poturu Ajay, who allegedly supplied the contraband to the gym. Two mobile phones and a two-wheeler were also seized from the accused.
The accused and the seized material were handed over to the Kukatpally Excise Police Station for further action, CI Nagaraju said.
