Hyderabad: BRS Working President and former Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) sustained a slip disc injury during a gym workout and has been advised a few days of bed rest by his doctors.

KTR shared the news on his official account on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), stating, “Picked up a slip disc injury during a gym workout session. Have been advised a few days of bed rest and recovery by my doctors. Hope to be back on my feet soon.”

Following the announcement, several political leaders extended their wishes for his recovery.

Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and actor Pawan Kalyan said, “Wishing a speedy recovery to our brother, K.T. Rama Rao. He should take adequate rest as advised by the doctors. We sincerely hope he recovers quickly.”

TDP leader Nara Lokesh also conveyed his concern, stating, “I was saddened to hear that BRS Working President and dear @KTRBRS got injured while exercising at the gym. I hope he takes rest as per the doctors’ advice and recovers quickly.”

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister posted, “Wishing you a speedy recovery, brother. Get well soon! @KTRBRS.”

Minister of State for Home Affairs and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar added, “Wishing BRS Working President and Sircilla MLA @KTRBRS a speedy and complete recovery following his slip disc injury. Praying to Ammavaru for a swift return to good health and strength.”

In response, KTR thanked the leaders for their wishes and support.
