News in short:
KTR, the working president of the BRS party in Telangana, has sparked controversy with his criticism of the Congress-led Telangana government. He alleges that the state is losing investments to other states, including Andhra Pradesh, under Congress rule. His tweet, which specifically mentions "even Andhra Pradesh," has angered many social media users from that state, who feel the wording is dismissive and disrespectful. They are also pointing out that Andhra Pradesh, under the leadership of Nara Lokesh, had attracted significant investment in 2018, despite being a state with a capital city still under construction. The controversy highlights the political tension between the two states and the ongoing rivalry between the BRS and the Congress parties.
Ktr Faces Backlash Over ‘even Andhra Pradesh’ Jibe Remark

Hyderabad: BRS Working President KT Rama Rao aka KTR has sparked a controversy with his criticism of the Congress-led Telangana government, drawing backlash from many in Andhra Pradesh for mentioning their state.

Earlier, the opposition leader had criticised the state government for allegedly failing to retain investments that Telangana had previously secured. He was referring to how major firms such as Kaynes, Corning, and now Premier Energies have moved to Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh respectively under Congress rule.

Targeting the Revanth Reddy-led government in the state, KTR tweeted, “Telangana was once a magnet for investments, attracting reputed companies under the BRS government. Now, under Congress rule, investors are choosing Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and even Andhra Pradesh over Telangana. The question is—why? Is it the 20-30% commissions or RR Tax? The people of Telangana deserve answers.”

Several social media users from the neighbouring state have taken offence to the wording “even Andhra Pradesh” in KTR’s tweet.

“Even Andhra Pradesh’ is your comedy show tweet 2.0.
Sadly, seems like you’ve not learnt from the first one. Yet.
From where to where have you fallen!!
Live example for the saying ‘loose lips sink ships,” a user commented on the BRS leader’s tweet “even AndhraPradesh”?

You still think it’s Jagan’s government? If yes, come out from your dream,” wrote a user.

“Don’t forget the fact , your tweet in 2018 AP is top of EODB, now you are criticising the AP sarcastically, do your politics properly in telangana or else already your bapu opened a office in Vja, no problem you can come here also .don’t play with AP people emotions,” replied another user.

“EVEN Ktr is talking. This guy lost India’s biggest FDI Kia and other biggies like Hero motocorp, Ashok leyland etc… to Nara Lokesh as IT minister leading a capital less state far back in 2018,” another user commented.
