KTR Valmiki Scam Allegations

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi working president K Taraka Rama Rao made serious allegations on the Telangana Congress linking it with the Valmiki scam originated in Karnataka. In a startling statement, KTR said that out of the 180 crores scam, Telangana has received a sum of Rs. 45 crores to around nine banks in Hyderabad.

Speaking about this issue, KTR said, “Valmiki scam that broke out in Karnataka not only shook Karnataka Congress but also Telangana Congress. Revant Reddy and other Congress leaders somehow managed the media and are not letting the matter out, but that will be resolved soon and matters would eventually come out.”

Pointing out the amounts involved in the scam, KTR said “Just before the Parliament elections, government exchequer amounting to Rs.180 crores was diverted, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddiramaiah also accepted that the money got diverted. Of which, nine bank accounts in Hyderabad received around 45 crores of money. After an enquiry began in this, the Valmiki accounts superintendent, died by suicide for unknown reasons. And his family is on the road.”

KTR added, “Along with bank officials, the ED has arrested 11 people in connection with the scam, From Karnataka, whose bank accounts that the money received in Telangana, who are those people, it should be enquired and if this is done, then the Telangana Congress secrets would come out.”

4.5 crores transferred to V6, who is the owner, questions KTR

Further KTR expressed doubt that Telangana Congress utilized this money for the Parliamentary elections held in the state. Further, 4.5 crores of amount was transferred to V6 Business solutions. “Who is the owner of the V6 Business?” Questioned KTR

KTR further lamented that “Though there are ED, CB, CID raids, but these news is not being reported here, who is stopping all of this. One of the Congress Ministers in Karnataka said that if the Karnataka Congress government is disturbed it would also impact the Telangana government, then is that relation between these two governments? Is this a Valmiki scheme?”

KTR also questioned why the Enforcement Directorate remained silent in this, “In this Valmiki Scheme, though there are proofs showing that Telangana Congress got a lump sum, then why ED is silent. Why there is no investigation on Telangana Congress leaders. Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi, who is vocal about several issues, why has he remained silent now? He should speak about the corruption being held in his own party. I demand Valmiki Corporation secrets should come out,” demanded KTR.
