Excise teams seize 5.8 kg ganja in Kompally
HYDERABAD: Excise officials seized 5.8 kg of ganja worth ₹ 3 lakh during a joint raid by the State Task Force (STF) A-Team and Medchal District Task Force (DTF) in Kompally.
Joint teams raid house after tip-off on ganja sales
Acting on information about ganja being sold in the Kompally area, an STF A-Team led by CI MPR Chandrasekhar and a Medchal DTF team led by CI Narsi Reddy searched a house bearing No. 11-1-1165/4.
Officials seized 5.8 kg of ganja, estimated to be worth ₹ 3 lakh, during the search.
One arrested, another accused remains on the run
A case was registered against two persons. Hatgad Sunil, 27, was arrested, while Hatgad Aman was found to be on the run.
STF A-Team leader M Vishnumurthy said the seized ganja and the accused were handed over to the Kompally Excise station.
