A Tale of Deception: former KIMS Director midst of shocking accusations
Hyderabad: In a shocking revelation resembling a plot from a film, a former hospital director of Hyderabad finds himself at the center of a complex web of deceit, cheating and alleged criminal intimidation. The Hyderabad police booked a case and started an investigation.
Bollineni Krishnaiah, former Director of KIMS Hospital, faces multiple criminal charges after a complaint from a victim, who claims to be his second wife. The complaint, registered at Raidurgam Police Station on January 8, 2024, describes a relationship built on lies and unfulfilled promises.
According to the complainant, their relationship began in 2003 when she met Krishnaiah at Medwin Hospital, leading to a marriage in February 2004. Over the next seven years, Complainant gave birth to three children – a son and two daughters. But in a twist that defies belief, she claims Krishnaiah systematically separated her from two of their children, keeping them hidden for years under various pretexts.
Subsequently when she met her son and identified herself, her son was surprised, saying he was unaware that she was his mother and had been told that her husband and his first wife were his parents. The complainant then began meeting her son, but her husband, upon discovering this, questioned her and threatened that he would not support her if she continued meeting their son. “He also stopped providing her monthly financial assistance. Later, in 2022, her son went to the U.S. to pursue a BBA, but he met with her whenever he returned to India. Eventually, her son informed her that her elder daughter had never been with her husband,” said the complainant.
Former Hospital Director’s accused of cheating
The story took a darker turn when the complainant discovered that her eldest daughter had allegedly been given away to another couple – Hema and Prasad, the Managing Director of Lotus Hospital.
Meanwhile, her son was reportedly raised to believe that Krishnaiah’s first wife was his mother. Additionally, her husband made records to show her son as the child of himself and his first wife. In June 2023, the complainant confronted her husband, demanding that he declare her as the mother of their son and elder daughter to his relatives and other family members. He refused and stopped visiting the complainant’s house.
As the layers of deception unraveled, the complainant found herself fighting not just for recognition as the mother of her children and her safety. She claims to have received life threats from Krishnaiah and others involved in the alleged cover-up.
The Raidurgam Police have registered a case under sections 420 (cheating), 417 (punishment for cheating), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. During the investigation, Raidurgam Police served 41-A notices to the accused. The Investigating Officer verified all relevant documents, and based on the available evidence, added Sections 467(Forgery), 468(Forgery for purpose of cheating), and 471(Using as genuine a forged document or electronic record) of the IPC to the existing charges. The case file was transferred to Central Crime Station(CCS), Detective Department(DD) Hyderabad, on the grounds of jurisdiction for further investigation.
When we contacted KIMS hospital, they informed us that “Bollineni Krishnaiah was not associated with KIMS anymore. He was a former Director.” And refused to comment any further statiting it as his ‘personal issues.’
