Girl kidnapped from Secunderabad railway station rescued, ends agony of mother
Secunderabad: Secunderabad Railway police nabbed a kidnapper who abducted a five year old girl from the railway station and rescued the girl on Thursday.
The arrested kidnapper was identified as Md.Parvez, 35- year-old hailing from Bihar state migrated to the city and working in a chicken shop at Manikonda.
Going further into details, on Tuesday at around 6:30 in the evening, Md. Gousia Begum along with her two daughters reached Secudnerabad railway station to board a train to Jangaon. Subsequently Begum left her younger daughter Naira Begum in Secunderabad railway station and went out to get meals at about 8:20. However, when she returned with the food to her shock she found her daughter Naira Begum missing.She searched for her daughter in the entire railway station and all possible places till Wednesday. Later she came to RPS Secunderabad and lodged a complaint.
Based on the complainant, Secunderabad railway police have registered a kidnap case and started investigation. Subsequently the Investigating officer informed the superior officers about the incident and formed a special team to locate the kidnapped girl.
“Further technical team was tasked with analyzing the CCTV footage of surrounding premises of Secunderabad railway police station. While they were analyzing the CCTV footage, they found one male person taking the victim girl outside of the railway station through gate No.01. Following which the investigating team started gathering information regarding the kidnaper and were alerted by the sources regarding the presence of the kidnapper in Mehdipatnam area,” said Secunderabd railway police.
Upon which the investigating officer along with his team rushed to Mehedipatnam and traced the victim girl and apprehended the culprit near Mehdipatnam bus stand. Further taken into custody and brought to RPS Secunderabad.
When questioned, the suspect confessed the crime saying that due to financial problems he kidnapped the minor girl and later plane to demand ransom for safely returning the girl. He was produced before the Railway Court for judicial custody.Further investigation is underway.
