“The Congress government set up a commission of inquiry to discredit me and our then government with the political party. Everyone knows that in Telangana, our government made a significant change and provided 24-hour quality electricity to all sectors, addressing the desperate need for electricity,” stated former Chief Minister KCR.
KCR criticized Justice Reddy for holding a press conference before the investigation was concluded, implying that the chairman had already formed an opinion against his administration.
“But contrary to the traditions of an inquiry commission, you held a press conference before the investigation was over. You mentioned my name as the one who brought Telangana state and ruled it for ten years. You also said that if I asked for a period in the background of the Lok Sabha elections, you would have given me some grace,” he added.
Expressing his profound disappointment, KCR noted that the inquiry should be a “sacred duty” to uncover the truth through thorough and unbiased examination. He lamented that Justice Narasimha Reddy’s actions appeared to undermine this principle, suggesting that the inquiry was conducted with a preconceived notion of guilt.
