KCR hands B-form to Maganti Sunitha for Jubilee Hills byelection

HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K. Chandrashekar Rao on Tuesday handed over the party’s B-form to Maganti Sunitha, the party’s candidate for the Jubilee Hills byelection.
He also gave her a cheque of ₹40 lakh towards election expenses. Sunitha, accompanied by her family members, met Rao at his farmhouse in Erravalli.
Sunitha later discussed several key political issues with the BRS president. Rao wished her victory in the upcoming election.

Sunitha will file her nomination on Wednesday in a simple ceremony. She is scheduled to submit the second set of nomination papers with a massive rally on October 19.
BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao and former minister T. Harish Rao have already begun campaigning in her support.
In the 2023 Assembly elections, BRS nominee Maganti Gopinath won from Jubilee Hills. The byelection was necessitated following his death due to illness. The party has now fielded his wife, Sunitha, and is intensifying its campaign for her victory.
