Kavitha begins ‘Jagruthi Janam Bata’ tour in district
NALGONDA: Kalvakuntla Kavitha, president of Telangana Jagruthi, launched the ‘Jagruthi Janam Bata’ outreach tour in Nalgonda district on November 11, 2025.
Visits project sites, meets flood hit farmers
Her day began at 9 am with a visit to the Kishtarampalli Project in the Munugode constituency, where she met farmers affected by submergence at Lakshmannapuram.
At 11:30 am, Kavitha visited the Kommepalli Gurukul School in Devarakonda, interacting with students and staff.
Later, at 1 pm, she visited the Nakkalagandi Project and held discussions with farmers impacted by flooding.
Inspection of irrigation works in Nagarjuna Sagar
In the afternoon, Kavitha inspected the Sunkishala retaining wall at 3 pm and the Nellikallu Lift Irrigation Project at 4 pm, both in the Nagarjuna Sagar constituency.
Her day concluded at 6 pm with a public joining programme at Miryalaguda town, where new members were inducted into the Jagruthi movement.
