HYDERABAD: Organisations from Karimnagar district on Tuesday submitted a representation to the state government citing technical glitches on the UMEED portal and sought an extension of the submission deadline beyond December 5.

The groups said users were unable to complete their applications due to repeated login errors and failed uploads. They added that several attempts to submit mandatory details had not gone through.

In the representation, the organisations stated that the portal issues were affecting a large number of applicants across the district. They requested the government to extend the deadline to ensure that no eligible applicant is deprived of the opportunity due to technical problems.

Officials are yet to respond to the request.
