Karimnagar SI’s wife ends life after severe pain
KARIMNAGAR: Divya, wife of Chandrasekhar, a sub-inspector at Two Town police station, died after attempting suicide, police said.
Severe pain precedes suicide attempt
According to police, the family lived in Hanumannagar under One Town police station limits. Divya reportedly suffered from severe stomach pain and, unable to bear it, attempted suicide on Wednesday.
Family members noticed her condition and rushed her to a private hospital in Karimnagar. As her condition worsened, doctors referred her to Hyderabad for advanced treatment.
Shift to Hyderabad fails to save her
Divya was shifted to Hyderabad the same day, where she died while undergoing treatment.
The couple has two sons aged 10 and 6. Relatives and family members were in tears as the children lost their mother at a young age.
