Karimnagar Police Officer Passes Away Following Loss of His Wife

HYDERABAD: A sub-inspector of police passed away days after his wife’s death in Karimnagar district on Saturday.
Chandrasekhar, who served as Karimnagar Town-II Sub-Inspector, was found unresponsive at his in-laws’ house in Sithampet village. Family members rushed him to a hospital in Jammikunta, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police said Chandrasekhar had been reportedly distressed following the recent death of his wife Divya, who passed away on Tuesday after consuming oleander seeds, a poisonous substance.
The couple is survived by their two young sons. Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
Further investigation is underway.
