Banjara Hills Residents Seek Action Over Damaged Road, Hanging Cables
HYDERABAD: Residents of Kamlapuri Colony in Banjara Hills have urged Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials to repair a damaged road and address loose and hanging cables at the T-junction near Tanvir Hospital.
Residents said they had informed the concerned authorities about the problems earlier, but the issues remained unresolved. The road at the junction is in poor condition and requires immediate repairs, they said.
They also raised concerns over cables hanging loosely from electricity poles in the area. Residents said the cables pose a safety risk to commuters, pedestrians and people living nearby.
Tanvir Hospital is located at 8-3-833, Plot No. 100, 1st Phase Road, Kamlapuri Colony, Hyderabad.
Residents appealed to the mayor, chief minister, roads and buildings minister, GHMC commissioner, zonal commissioner and other officials to inspect the location and take necessary action.
They sought immediate repair of the road and removal or proper rearrangement of the cables. GHMC also has a grievance mechanism for residents to report civic issues.
