Kaleshwaram : Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy on Monday launched development works worth ₹198 crore at the Sri Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple and laid the foundation stone for a new bus station to be built at a cost of ₹3.70 crore in Kaleshwaram in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.

Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Adluri Laxman, Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy and Member of Parliament Vamsi Krishna attended the programme.

CM offers prayers, performs temple rituals

The Chief Minister offered prayers at the temple and took part in the Maha Rudrabhishekam. He later performed rituals at the Shubhananda Devi temple within the premises.

Officials from the Endowments Department honoured the Chief Minister and ministers with temple prasadam and ceremonial silk robes. Principal Secretary Shailaja Ramaiyer and Commissioner Hanumantha Rao were present.

Foundation stones laid for redevelopment projects

The Chief Minister performed the bhoomi puja and unveiled plaques for the temple redevelopment works and the new bus station.

Endowments Commissioner Hanumantha Rao briefed the Chief Minister on the details of the temple redevelopment project.
