Excise officials seize 68.90g charas in Kachiguda
HYDERABAD: Excise officials seized 68.90 grams of charas from a Haryana native identified as Vikram in Kachiguda, Secunderabad excise superintendent J Jeevan Kiran said.
Officials also seized 154 quarter bottles of liquor from the accused. The seizures were made in connection with separate violations detected in Kachiguda and Musheerabad.
Accused caught selling liquor without permission
Jeevan Kiran said Vikram was also caught selling liquor without permission near Mahankali Temple in Musheerabad.
During the enforcement action, excise officials recovered 154 quarter bottles of liquor from him, apart from the charas seized in Kachiguda.
The accused, along with the seized charas and liquor bottles, was subsequently handed over to the Musheerabad excise station for further action, Jeevan Kiran said.
