Jubilee Hills crash leaves student dead
HYDERABAD: A school student died after sustaining injuries in a road accident at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad on Saturday.
RTC electric bus hits bike on Road No. 5
The accident occurred on Road No. 5 when a Telangana State Road Transport Corporation electric bus hit a motorcycle carrying three persons.
The impact threw the riders off the bike, leaving the student with severe injuries. Locals alerted emergency services, and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Victim dies during treatment at hospital
The student died while undergoing treatment, hospital sources said.
The victim’s father and brother, who were travelling on the same motorcycle, sustained injuries. Their condition is stated to be stable.
Police reached the spot, shifted the vehicle, and registered a case. An inquiry is underway to determine whether overspeeding or negligence led to the accident.
