Jubilee Hills guard held for midnight robbery attempt
HYDERABAD: A long time house guard in Jubilee Hills was arrested along with four associates for allegedly attempting a robbery at his employer’s residence around midnight on Saturday.
Guard tied up driver, attacked with knives
Police said Radha Chand , who had been working as a security guard at the home of Ajay Agarwal in Jubilee Hills , planned the break-in with five others.
Investigators said the group reached the house carrying knives and ropes. They allegedly tied up the driver and attempted to intimidate family members to force entry.
Family alerted police
Alerted by family members, a team from Jubilee Hills police station reached the spot and apprehended the accused. Officers said five people, including Chand, have been arrested.
Police added that an inquiry is under way to verify the involvement of others and recover any additional weapons used.
