BJP’s Deepak Reddy files nomination for Jubilee Hills bypoll

HYDERABAD: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy filed his nomination papers for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election on Monday.
Kishan Reddy, Ramachander Rao join special puja before rally
Before filing the papers, Deepak Reddy, along with Union minister Kishan Reddy and state BJP president Ramachander Rao, performed special pujas at the Vijayadurga Pochamma temple in Venkatagiri.
Following the rituals, they led a massive rally to the Shaikpet tahsildar’s office, where Deepak Reddy submitted his nomination papers.
Deepak Reddy contested from Jubilee Hills in 2023 polls
Deepak Reddy had earlier contested from the Jubilee Hills constituency as the BJP candidate in the 2023 Assembly elections. He is currently serving as the Hyderabad Central district president of the party.
According to election officials, as of 12 pm today, a total of 13 nominations had been filed for the Jubilee Hills bypoll. Monday marked the last day for filing nominations.
