Jubilee Hills bypoll: BRS backs up with Vishnuvardhan Reddy

HYDERABAD: All political parties are treating the Jubilee Hills by-election as a prestige contest and are taking measures to avoid any mistakes.

BRS fields PJR’s son Vishnuvardhan Reddy as backup

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has also filed a nomination for PJR’s son, Vishnuvardhan Reddy, for the Jubilee Hills by-election. Earlier, party candidate Maganti Sunitha had filed three sets of nominations.
BRS leaders, as a precaution, submitted Vishnuvardhan Reddy’s nomination in case Sunitha’s papers face rejection during scrutiny.

Congress names 40 campaigners for Jubilee Hills poll

Meanwhile, the Congress party has released a list of 40 campaigners for the by-election. The list includes senior leaders, ministers, and MLAs. Among them is turncoat MLA Danam Nagender.
