Jeevan Reddy attacks rivals over chief minister ambitions

HYDERABAD: Former minister Jeevan Reddy said he had expressed the mental distress he faced within the party and criticised leaders he accused of joining with ambitions to become chief minister.
Says leaders joined party aiming for top post
He said some leaders entered the party with a plan to secure the chief minister’s post. “You are happy becoming chief minister by pushing others aside, but let us live,” he said.
Reddy added that it was better to confront and fight rather than be suppressed. “What do we have to lose?” he said.
Questions role and contributions of rival leaders
Referring to Ranjith Reddy, he questioned the outcome of bringing him into the party. “What happened? The result is total loss,” he said.
He alleged that the chief minister was asserting control over the party. “He says the party is his and that he will crush anyone who comes in his way. No force has stopped us,” he said.
Reddy also questioned Narender Reddy’s contribution to the party. “Who is this Narender Reddy? What service has he done for the party?” he said.
