Jayesh Ranjan appointed Special Officer for three Telangana municipal corporations
HYDERABAD: The Telangana government has appointed Jayesh Ranjan, IAS (1992 batch), as Special Officer for three municipal corporations, following their reorganisation.
In an order issued on February 11, 2026, the General Administration (Spl-A) Department said Jayesh Ranjan, currently Special Chief Secretary to Government, Metropolitan Area and Urban Development Department, will serve as Special Officer for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation.
The appointment comes in pursuance of G.O.Ms.No.55 issued by the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (GHMC-1) Department on February 11, 2026, under which the three corporations were duly reorganised.
The order was issued vide G.O.Rt.No.203 and signed by Chief Secretary to Government K. Ramakrishna Rao.
Copies of the order were marked to the officers concerned, Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries to Government, the Pay and Accounts Officer, Telangana, the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, the Secretary, State Election Commission, Telangana, all Collectors and District Magistrates in the state, the Secretary to Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training, North Block, New Delhi, the Principal Secretary to Governor, Lok Bhavan, Hyderabad, and the Accountant General (A&E), Telangana.
