Political vendetta behind encroachment case alleges Jangaon MLA Palla Rajeswar Reddy

Hyderabad: Following a case MLA Palla Rajeswar Reddy refuted the allegation and claimed to have ‘necessary permissions’ appealed the government not to destroy the future of the students and hospital services.
Pocharam IT Corridor police of Rachakonda Commissionerate has registered a case against Anurag Group of Institutions, accusing the institution of illegally encroaching on Nadam Cheruvu, a lake in Venkatapur village, Ghatkesar Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri District. The institution is owned by Palla Rajeswar Reddy, a Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA.
According to the complaint, filed by A. Paramesh, Assistant Executive Engineer of the Irrigation section in Ghatkesar Mandal, alleges that the Anurag Group of Institutions, under the banner of Gayatri Educational Trust, is illegally constructing a college building within the buffer zone of Nadam Cheruvu. The lake was recently restored under the Mission Kakatiya Phase-IV initiative.
Appeals to not to destroy students’ future over encroachment case
However, refuting the allegations Palla Rajeswar Reddy took to X and posted,“The Irrigation Department issued an No Objection certificate(NOC) in 2017, and the Collector also granted an NOC. The land in question does not fall under either the Full Tank Level(FTL) or the Buffer Zone, as confirmed by NOCs from all the relevant departments. We are constructing the medical college and hospital only after obtaining permissions from HMDA. The case filed against us is unjust. The same officials who granted all the necessary permissions and NOCs are now filing cases under pressure”.

He further stated “We have all the necessary permissions related to our land and constructions. Please review this matter. Do not destroy the future of the students and do not stop the services to poor patients in the hospital without issuing notice or seeking our explanation. Educational institutions and hospitals should not be made targets of political vendettas. I also appeal to the honorable High Court to direct the issuance of notices to us and to review our permissions. If any permissions are lacking, only then should further actions be taken”.
