Jagtial girl Aaradhya earns India Book recognition

JAGTIAL: Eight-year-old Juvvaji Aaradhya from Jagtial has earned recognition for her performance in yoga.
The daughter of Mithun and Santoshini, Aaradhya is studying in Class IV.
Aaradhya holds King Cobra pose for over 14 minutes
In January, Aaradhya performed the Rajabhujangasana, or King Cobra pose, for 14 minutes and 33 seconds, earning a place in the India Book of Records.
Representatives of the organisation recognised the performance from the visuals submitted and presented her with a certificate and the title of IBR Achiever.
Mother guides Aaradhya in yoga practice
Under the guidance of her mother Santoshini, Aaradhya practised yoga using a mobile phone. She gained proficiency in several asanas and chose Rajabhujangasana, her favourite, for the record attempt.
Her parents said they were helping her learn yoga in keeping with her interest.
