Telangana Jagadeeshwar Reddy gets President’s Police Medal
HYDERABAD: Telangana Intelligence SP Regatte Jagadeeshwar Reddy has been awarded the President’s Police Medal (PPM) for his services. The Union home ministry announced the prestigious medal on the occasion of Independence Day, recognising his long service in the Intelligence department.
Jagadeeshwar Reddy has served in Intelligence for years
Jagadeeshwar Reddy, son of Regatte Gopal Reddy, was born on June 10, 1969. He is currently serving as SP in the Political wing of the Intelligence department in Hyderabad.
During his police service, he has received several awards for his commitment and professional expertise.
Officer has received several medals and commendations
He received the Kathina Seva Medal in 2005, Uttama Seva Medal in 2009, Chief Minister’s Gallantry Medal in 2011, Antarik Suraksha Medal in 2014, Indian Police Medal in 2017 and Mahonnata Seva Medal in 2021.
In 2006, he received a special commendation from the Central Bureau of Investigation for his role in apprehending a terrorist.
His service record also includes 85 commendation entries, eight commendation certificates and two special commendations for outstanding performance.
Intelligence officials congratulate officer on medal
Intelligence Additional DGP Vijay Kumar and other police officers congratulated Jagadeeshwar Reddy on his selection for the President’s Police Medal. The officers appreciated his services to the police department.
