Hyderabad: I-T raids at several places in and around Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The Income Tax Department carried out searches at the corporate offices of Anvita Builders early Thursday morning in Hyderabad.
The company has been on the income tax department’s radar for allegations of tax evasion. The IT officials also searched the residences of the managing directors and directors of the firm in Jubilee Hills, Raidurgam, Kollur and Sangareddy. Nearly 30 teams of IT officers were involved in these raids.
Simultaneous searches were conducted across 30 locations in Telangana, including Sangareddy, Siddipet, Bhuvanagiri, Kolluru, Raidurgam, and Medak. The IT officials raided the offices and residences of Vijayawada-based realtors Bopparaju Srinivas, Boppana Achyutha Rao and Boppana Anoop.
The findings from the IT raids are awaited.
