IT employee held with MDMA worth ₹1.3 lakh in Gachibowli

HYDERABAD: Madapur Zone Special Operations Team police have seized 11 grams of MDMA worth ₹1.30 lakh and two mobile phones from a 26-year-old IT employee within the limits of the Gachibowli police station.
The accused, identified as Sai Kiran, a resident of Keshav Nagar in Gachibowli, was apprehended based on specific information, police said. He was allegedly attempting to sell the drugs in Hyderabad after procuring them from Bengaluru.
Police said Sai Kiran, who works in an IT company, was involved in drug trafficking and primarily targeted IT employees for sales.
A case has been registered at the Gachibowli police station, and further investigation is underway to trace the supply network and possible associates.
