Traffic diversions for IPL-2025 match at Uppal stadium on April 6
Hyderabad: In a bid to ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid inconvenience to the public during the IPL-2025 match, the Commissioner of Police Rachakonda, G. Sudheer Babu, has announced traffic diversions and restrictions in Uppal on April 6, 2025. The match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, starting at 7:30 p.m.
The traffic diversions will affect heavy vehicles, including lorries, dumpers, earth movers, water tankers, RMC trucks, and other types of trucks, between 4:00 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. on the day of the match.
Details of Diversions:
• Chengicherla, Boduppal, Peerzadiguda traffic: Vehicles heading towards Uppal will be diverted near the Toyota showroom, taking the HMDA Bhaghyath Layout Road, and continuing towards Nagole.
• LB Nagar to Nagole, Uppal traffic: Traffic will be diverted at the Nagole Metro Station U-turn, rerouting through the HMDA Layout, Bouduppal, and Chengicherla Cross Road.
• Tarnaka traffic towards Uppal: Traffic will be diverted at Habsiguda X Road, directed towards Nacharam, IOCL Cherlapally.
• Ramanthapur to Uppal: Vehicles will be diverted at Street No. 8 and redirected via Habsiguda Metro Pillar 972 U-turn to Uppal X Road.
All citizens are advised to follow these routes and timings, and cooperate with Rachakonda Traffic Police to avoid any disruptions during the event.
