Traffic Diversions Announced For Ipl Match At Uppal Stadium On May 5, 2025

Hyderabad: In an effort to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent inconvenience during the IPL-2025 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, Rachakonda Police have announced traffic diversions in the Uppal area. The match will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppall, Medchal, on May 5, 2025, from 7:30 PM.

The following traffic restrictions and diversions will be in effect from 4:00 PM to 11:50 PM on the match day:

Heavy Vehicle Diversions:

• Lorries, dumpers, earth movers, water tankers, RMC trucks, and all other types of heavy vehicles will be diverted.

Diversion Routes:

1. Route from Chengicherla, Boduppal, and Peerzadiguda towards Uppal:

Diversion Point: Opposite Toyota Showroom, HMDA Bhaghyath Road
Suggested Route: HMDA Bhaghyath Layout – Nagole

2. Route from LB Nagar to Nagole, Uppal:

Diversion Point: Under Nagole Metro Station U-Turn
Suggested Route: Nagole Metro Station – HMDA Layout – Boduppal – Chengicherla X Road

3. Route from Tarnaka towards Uppal:

Diversion Point: Habsiguda X Road
Suggested Route: Nacharam – IOCL Cherlapally

4. Route from Ramanthapur towards Uppal:

Diversion Point: Street No 8
Suggested Route: Street No 8, Habsiguda, Metro Pillar 972 U-turn, Uppal X Road

All residents and commuters are advised to plan their movements accordingly and cooperate with the Rachakonda Traffic Police to minimize disruption.
