Hyderabad: Christopher Nolan’s epic science fiction drama Interstellar is set for a widely anticipated re-release in India on February 7, 2025, marking its tenth anniversary. The excitement in Hyderabad is palpable, with fans eagerly awaiting the opportunity to watch the movie on the big screen again.

Tickets for the re-release opened on January 16, 2025, and within the last hour today, 1.09k tickets were booked on BookMyShow, highlighting the film’s enduring popularity. Hyderabad moviegoers can catch the film in several theaters across the city, including AMB Cinemas, Prasads Multiplex, MovieMax, PVR, Cinepolis, GPR Multiplex, and INOX, with showings in locations like Gachibowli, Kukatpally, and Banjara Hills.

Fans are thrilled to experience Interstellar again, with its stunning visuals, thought-provoking storyline, and Hans Zimmer’s iconic music. Speaking with the Hyderabad Mail, Sagar Inti, a Junior Naval Architect, shared his excitement, saying, “I missed the chance to watch it in theaters in 2014. Now, I’m eager to experience it on the big screen.”

Engineering student Shiva Sai Surya Kumar expressed his admiration for Nolan’s work, saying, “It’s one of the best science fiction films, blending real science with emotional storytelling. The themes of love, time, and survival, combined with the VFX, make Interstellar unforgettable.”

Pathan Mansoor Khan, also an engineering student, praised the film’s exceptional visuals and VFX, calling it “A big-screen experience.” He added, “Now that it’s being re-released, I’m excited to watch it again on the big screen.”

IT employee Aditya, a long-time Nolan fan, remarked on the movie’s impact, saying, “The docking scenes still give me goosebumps. I’m thrilled to rewatch them in IMAX at Prasads.”

Siddhardha, a die-hard science fiction fan, shared his excitement, “I’m thrilled to revisit Nolan’s mind-bending universe. Interstellar is the film that made complex ideas like black holes, wormholes, and the fourth dimension feel tangible. I can’t wait to get lost in its intricate narrative again.”

According to Filmy View, the re-release is generating significant ticket sales. In the last 24 hours, Interstellar has sold 16.72k tickets, topping the charts alongside other new releases.
