Musical night: International Jazz festival enthralls Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The sixth edition of International Jazz festival is here in Hyderabad to enthrall all the music lovers. This year the event is being hosted at the Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet. The audience had a mesmerising musical night under the open sky, listening to international musicians, the Jazz experts. Jazz is one of the music forms, which had its origins in the African-American communities.
This year, the US Consulate General Hyderabad, Goethe-Zentrum, Hyderabad and the Embassy of the Netherlands, all of them have come together to organise this International festival.
The event has four performances from one of the top four extraordinary brands, including, Native Jazz Quartet from United States of America, Maelstrom from Germany, Cacha Mundiono, a collective of eclectic musicians from India and Holland, George Hull Collective from Hyderabad, India.
Speaking about the event, Jennifer Larson from the US Consul General said, “Jazz is such a unique American artform that has fans across the world. Its wonderful to have an opportunity to enjoy these incredible unique musical performances here in Hyderabad with all our friends. This is the 6th time we have co-sponsored the biannual Hyderabad International Jazz festival, an event we look forward to all year.”
