GHSPCAThe rescue was carried out with help from local police and Madhuranagar SHO Prabhakar. The GHSPCA team had been following a dance group from Visakhapatnam for five days after learning they were using a live snake in public shows.
On September 19, 2026, during a Ganesh Nimarjan procession in Kondapur, the snake handler ran away before the GHSPCA and police could catch him.
