Indian Navy band enthralls Hyderabad with memorable concert
Hyderabad: The Indian Navy band from the Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam, enthralled the audience at Sarath City Mall in Kondapur on Sunday evening.
The symphonic concert featured both Telugu and Western musical hit numbers. A total of 39 skilled musicians captivated the audience with their spellbinding performance. The concert showcased Navy’s musical prowess.
The event was organized as part of the Indian Navy’s tradition of celebrating victory during the Indo-Pak War in 1971. Scores of music enthusiasts gathered at the shopping mall and applauded the band’s captivating performance.
Earlier, the Indian Navy band gave a spectacular performance exclusively for the officers at the Navy House in Bolarum as part of the Navy Day celebrations. Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma attended the event as the chief guest.
The symphonic orchestra and band concert included performances such as the theme song from the movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, popular Hindi songs ‘Piya Tu’, ‘Haseena Zulfon Wali’, ‘Mere Sapno Ki Rani’ and ‘Zindagi Ka Safar Hai Suhana’.
