HYDERABAD: The Indian Army has extended the last date for registration for Recruitment Year 2027 to April 10, 2026, offering an additional 10 days for aspiring candidates to apply.

The recruitment notification was issued on February 13, 2026, with the original deadline set as April 1, 2026. The extension has been granted to ensure that eligible candidates who could not complete their applications within the initial timeframe get another opportunity.

Additional window to maximise youth participation

Officials said the extension is intended to facilitate wider participation among eligible youth across the country. Candidates have been advised to use the extended window and complete their application process well before the revised deadline.

Applications can be submitted through the official website: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Eligibility criteria available on official portal

Applicants are advised to carefully check eligibility criteria, including age limits, educational qualifications and physical standards, on the official website before applying.

The Army reiterated its commitment to providing equal opportunities through a fully automated, fair and transparent recruitment process.

Warning against fraudulent agents in recruitment process

Candidates have been cautioned against touts or fraudulent agents claiming to influence the selection process. The Army emphasised that recruitment is strictly merit-based and no intermediary has any role in the selection.
