Sajjanar warns against selling banned Chinese manja
HYDERABAD: Police have warned the public against selling or using banned Chinese manja and urged citizens to share credible information with authorities instead of remaining silent.
People were asked not to buy the banned kite string and to prevent others from purchasing it, officials said.
Chinese manja is not ordinary thread
Police said Chinese manja poses a serious threat to human life and wildlife. “It is a deadly trap for people and a lethal blade that slits the throats of birds,” an official said.
Strict action for violation
Authorities warned that anyone found using or selling the government-banned Chinese manja will face strict legal action.
