Immadi Ravi Enters Police Custody Today

HYDERABAD: The Central Crime Station (CCS) will take iBomma operator Immadi Ravi into custody on Saturday following court approval for a five-day custodial inquiry.
Court allows five-day custody for CCS inquiry
Ravi, currently lodged in Chanchalguda jail, will be moved to CCS custody for interrogation through the week. Officials told reporters that the custody was sought to examine all aspects of the case in detail.
The court permitted five days of custody after CCS stated that a deeper probe was required into the activities linked to iBomma.
Probe to cover funding, crypto trail and devices
CCS officers are expected to question Ravi on foreign fund transfers, suspected cryptocurrency channels and the use of hard disks and other electronic material seized earlier.
The iBomma and Bappam websites have already been shut down as part of the investigation. Officials said the inquiry would focus on the technical and financial network behind the platforms.
Custody to begin after shifting from Chanchalguda jail
Ravi will be brought from Chanchalguda jail to CCS today to begin the custodial questioning.
