Rampuri Mughlai Food Festival brings 130-year-old royal recipes to Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Imli Sarai in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, is hosting the Rampuri Mughlai Food Festival this weekend, offering an exclusive 6-course Mughlai feast. The festival brings to life 130-year-old recipes from the royal kitchens of Rampur, prepared by Chef Moien Qureshi, the fourth-generation custodian of this culinary tradition.
The specially curated menu blends Mughlai finesse with Awadhi precision, shaped over centuries in the royal kitchens of the Nawabs. The 6-course meal begins with a choice of amuse bouche: Badami Shorba (for vegetarians) or Nalli Shorba (for non-vegetarians), followed by Mash Ki Dal.
For the second course, vegetarians can enjoy Subz Galauti, Hariyali Seekh Kebab, and Paneer Tikka Zafrani, served with Ulte Tawe Ka Paratha and Rumali Roti. Non-vegetarians will be served Murgh Tikka Hasnu, New Zealand Lamb Galauti, and Seekh Kebab, also paired with Ulte Tawe Ka Paratha and Rumali Roti.
