IMD forecasts heavy rain across Telangana
HYDERABAD: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain across several Telangana districts on November 30 (Sunday) and December 1 (Monday).
IMD issues yellow alert for two days
IMD Hyderabad has issued a yellow alert for multiple districts in view of expected heavy rainfall.
Weather enthusiast Telangana Weatherman said rains are likely across east and south Telangana, particularly in districts bordering Andhra Pradesh during the first week of December.
He added that some parts of Hyderabad may also receive rain, noting that two cyclonic systems one over the Malacca Strait and another near Sri Lanka are influencing the conditions.
Hazy mornings and nights expected in Hyderabad
IMD said Hyderabad will likely experience hazy conditions during morning and night hours till November 30.
Officials advised residents to plan travel in advance, considering the expected rain and reduced visibility.
