Advocate Alleges Illegal Construction By Pranava Group In Somajiguda

Hyderabad: Telangana High Court advocate fights against an alleged illegal construction by Pranava Group in the heart of the city in Irrum Manzil Somajiguda, Hyderabad. He alleged the building was constructed without the necessary permission and approval from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC).

According to Dr. K. Rajesh Kumar, the Pranava’s One Group forcefully grabbed the government and indigent persons’ lands, and no concerned government has taken legal action against them. He further alleged that the building was constructed with undue political influence.

Speaking to HyderabadMail, K Rajesh Kumar said, “The Pranava Group/One Hyderabad is not following the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) rules. With the help of political influence they have obtained fake/false, unlawful, and illegal permissions from different departments to construct the buildings.”

He further expressed concern to the customers that innocent buyers of these buildings will incur huge financial losses without knowing the facts. Kumar alleged that the Pranava Group/One Hyderabad is cheating people by concealing the truth without government permission to start construction. “Many people, without knowing the legality of this construction, invest huge amounts in One Hyderabad and may suffer damages,” added Kumar.

K. Rajesh Kumar submitted a representation to the Transport, Road and Building (BLDGS) Department. The department forwarded it to the Municipal Administration and Urban Development(MA&UD) Department, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, Hyderabad, for taking necessary action on 23, December 2024.

Subsequently, K. Rajesh Kumar submitted a representation to HYDRAA to take decisive action and implement necessary changes. He suggested implementing stricter law enforcement to deter illegal activities. He also requested to explore the implications of urban planning regulations in preventing unapproved developments. Finally, he suggested effective enforcement measures to prevent future violations.

The Pranava Group was contacted for comment regarding the allegations. Their response will be added to this article when received.
