IFS mentors celebrate 84 successful candidates

HYDERABAD: Results of the Indian Forest Service Examination 2025 were declared on May 8, 2025, with a mentorship group claiming that 84 out of 148 selected candidates had received interview guidance from them.
The group said candidates mentored by them secured several top ranks, including 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. They also stated that the Forest Service topper for the last three years had emerged from their mentorship network.
Telangana candidate earns appreciation
Among the successful candidates, Challa Yamini secured Rank 119. She is the daughter of Challa Yadagiri, a head constable attached to the Suryapet Rural Police Station in Telangana.
The mentors congratulated Yamini and praised her father for his support.
Maharashtra candidate from Pathardi secures Rank 81
Pawar Akshay Haribhau, a native of Pathardi in Ahilyanagar district of Maharashtra, secured Rank 81 in the examination.
The mentors said they were proud of his achievement and extended congratulations to all selected candidates.
The group also thanked several serving and retired officers and academicians who contributed to the interview guidance programme. Those acknowledged included Indian Forest Service officers, Indian Revenue Service officers, academicians and retired officials from Telangana and Maharashtra.
In a message to successful candidates, the mentors advised them to remain grounded and remember the “service” aspect of the Indian Forest Service. Candidates who were not selected were encouraged to reassess their preparation strategy after the release of marks and not to lose confidence.
