Bunny Vas, Sukumar back Priyadarshi’s Idupu Kayitham

HYDERABAD: The Telugu film Idupu Kayitham launched with a grand ceremony. Organizers held traditional pooja rituals. Producers Bunny Vas (Bunny Vas Works) and Sukumar (Sukumar Writings) joined forces for this project. Actor Priyadarshi plays the lead. Telangana folk dancer Nagadurga debuts as the female lead.
Many film industry leaders attended the launch. Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj served as chief guest and revealed the film’s first-look poster. Further, Allu Aravind gave the inaugural clap for the muhurtham shot.
In addition, director Vamsi Reddy Dondapati leads Idupu Kayitham, a family drama set in Telangana. The cast includes Bithiri Sathi, Shivajyothi, Chandravva, Jordar Sujatha, Racha Ravi, Mime Madhu, and Abhai Bethiganti. Cast members said the story has universal appeal and highlights female talent, with women making up 80% of the cast. The film draws strongly from Telangana culture.
Furthermore, Suresh Bobbili composes the music. He said the story carries strong emotions and can connect with audiences in all Telugu-speaking regions. Producer Thabitha Sukumar described her personal link to the script. She praised the authenticity and emotional depth that director Vamsi brings to the film.
Producer Bunny Vas called Idupu Kayitham a story for every family. He believes its themes go beyond regional boundaries. He praised the cast and crew, especially Nagadurga, who rose from YouTube fame to film heroine. Priyadarshi, who plays Srinivas, expressed pride and gratitude. He promised a heartfelt performance rooted in local culture with a universal message.
