Thousands of people took part in the journey to bid farewell to the Ganesh idol.

Earlier, the 70-foot-tall Khairatabad Ganesh statue began its grand immersion procession early this morning. The idol, symbolising devotion and grandeur, embarked on its Shobha Yatra towards Tank Bund for immersion.

At 4 a.m., the idol was placed atop the Tusker vehicle amidst a massive crowd, tight security, and police protection. By 7 a.m., committee members completed the special pujas conducted during Navratri. Following the puja, aarti was performed, and the Shobha Yatra commenced.
