HYDERABAD: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) secured control of Ibrahimpatnam municipality in Rangareddy district, with Tekula Sudarshan Reddy elected as chairman.

Muthyala Shyamala, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councillor, was elected vice chairperson.

BRS wins chairman posts in two Telangana municipalities

In Mancherial district, the BRS also won the Kyathanapalli municipality. Sandhya Rani, the party’s candidate, was elected chairperson.

The vice chairperson post went to Sarita, a Communist Party of India (CPI) candidate.
