Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy assures assistance for Tanya soni’s family

Hyderabad : Telangana Chief Minister, Anumala Revanth Reddy enquired about the death of Tanya Soni at a Delhi’s private coaching institute. Tania Soni is one of the three students who lost their lives after tragic flooding in the basement of an IAS coaching institute, Rau’s IAS Study circle, in Delhi’s Old Rajendra Nagar.

Chief Minister’s Office in an official note said that Revanth Reddy, called the Telangana Bhavan Resident Commissioner, Gourav Uppal and enquired for the details of the Delhi incident. CMO was informed that Tania is a resident of Bihar state while his father works in Singareni Collieries in Mancherial.

Tanya is identified as the daughter of Vijay Kumar, who works as a Deputy general Manager in the Srirampur area with the Singareni Collieries Company private limited.

Further CMO shared that arrangements are being made to send the body of Tania Soni to her state Bihar and Revanth Reddy order to give necessary assistance for the Vijay Kumar’s family in the time of need.

This incident of flooding at the coaching institute has sparked an outrage among the netizens, pointing at the negligence of municipal authorities in preventing the incident.

Meanwhile, the Rau’s IAS Study circle, in its statement said, “In light of the recent tragic event involving the students of Rajendra Nagar Rau’s IAS study Circle, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased students, Ms Tanya Soni, Mr Nivin Dalwin and Ms Shreya Yadav.”

Regarding the ongoing investigation, the study circle said, “We are fully committed to supporting the ongoing investigations into this tragic incident. We are cooperating fully with the relevant authorities and agencies to ensure that all necessary information is provided and the investigation proceeds with the utmost diligence. We are dedicated to assisting in any way possible to uncover the truth and ensure accountability.”
