HYDRAA removes illegal structures on Karmanghat park land

HYDERABAD: HYDRA officials cleared unauthorised structures built on a 450-sq yard park site in Sai Ganesh Nagar at Karmanghat in Saroornagar mandal, Ranga Reddy district.

Residents allege threat from encroachers

According to locals, a few individuals recently put up a small room and a wall on the park land earmarked in the 1979 layout of 176 plots. Residents said they were threatened when they questioned the construction.

HYDRA inspection finds no registered documents

Residents submitted a complaint to HYDRAA. Officials inspected the location and found the structures to be illegal. They examined the papers produced by those involved and confirmed that the construction was not registered at the sub-registrar office and had no legal standing.

HYDRAA teams removed the unauthorised wall and demolished the room. Residents thanked the authority for protecting the designated park land.
